Sunday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” saw the unpleasant return of Cynthia Bailey’s sister, Malorie Bailey Massie, who famously tried to thwart her sister’s plans to marry Peter Thomas. And although Massie came in peace, things went downhill quickly when she invited herself to stay at Bailey and Thomas’ home for two months. As expected, Thomas and several “RHOA” fans were unhappy that neither Mal nor her sister told him about the extended stay, but now Malorie is speaking out and defending her self-invitation.
On Sunday night, Thomas tweeted about Massie’s unannounced arrival, asking, “Am I crazy or are there rules to this $#!t “So you just move into people’s house without asking them?”
However, Massie thought otherwise and countered Thomas’ tweets, writing, “Everybody shut up … I’m here help & support. Family is important. I will use my key when I get there. Wink.”
Massie also claimed that if the shoe was on the other foot she would never turn down Peter or Cynthia if they wanted to stay at her place for months.
“Family is always welcome at my house,” she wrote.
Massie then left her critics one final tweet, standing firmly behind her self-invitation and saying she’d do it again if she wanted.
“When [it] comes to my SISTER … I can bring up whatever I want to. #BelieveThat,” she wrote. “If my sister @CynthiaBailey10 didn’t want me there I wouldn’t b there.”
Well, we’re sure that Thomas, rightfully, has something to say about that idea. But they aren’t the only in-laws who just can’t seem to get along. Check out some other arguing in-laws below.
