“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have always crown jewels of Bravo’s treasure trove of reality TV gems. But on Sunday night the ATL queens proved, once again, that they’re biggest stars of the network when “RHOA” pulled in more viewers than the network has ever seen in its 33-year run.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “RHOA” drew in 4.5 million viewers, which was a ratings high for the series. Nearly three million of those viewers were adults 18-49, the highest ratings for that age range that the series has ever garnered.

And the ratings high didn’t end with “RHOA.” Bravo’s latest reality show, “Blood, Sweat and Heels,” earned the title of the network’s highest-rated series premiere, averaging 2.5 million viewers and 1.4 million adults 18-49.

Fellow freshman series “Thicker Than Water” also garnered the highest ratings of its season, averaging 2.3 million viewers, 1.2 million adults 18-49.

Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen also garnered some high ratings for his “Watch What Happens Live” talk show, averaging 1.8 million viewers, 960,000 adults 18-49.

As it stands, Bravo’s Sunday night lineup has become the network’s powerhouse night, easily rivaling the ratings of giants like Sunday Night Football. And their ratings success is due largely to the all-black cast of “RHOA.” Congratulations to all of the ladies (and men) of “RHOA” on their ratings success. –nicholas robinson
