Yesterday, former Public Enemy rapper and reality TV star Flavor Flav was arrested in Hempstead, NY for a bizarre rack of charges stemming from 16 suspensions on his license. Not one, not two, not three but 16 suspensions!
According to TMZ, “Flav was driving a black Hyundai when cops spotted him … claiming he was driving 79 in a 55 zone.”
Upon further investigation … troopers discovered Flav had 16 license suspensions. Law enforcement tells TMZ “Flav had a variety of unpaid tickets that resulted in the suspensions. In addition, they found a small amount of marijuana.”
Authorities say that Flav was arrested for “felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.” Luckily for Flav he was only booked and released without bail in order to attend his mother’s funeral.
Flav may want to consider several driver’s correctional courses in the near future. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
