All season long on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi Burruss’ fiancé, Todd Tucker, has been feeling the fire and brimstone of Mama Joyce’s wrath as she’s bashed her daughter’s fiancé for being a so-called opportunist and using her daughter to get to her money. The strain of Joyce’s critiques has taken a heavy toll on Tucker’s relationship with Burruss and on Sunday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Tucker explained how the drama has affected his own family as well.

While chatting with host Andy Cohen about the controversy with Joyce, Tucker revealed that the accusations and bickering have been tough on his 17-year-old daughter.

“It’s very challenging. I have a daughter. My daughter watches the show and to see someone lie about her dad or make things up or talk bad about him, it’s really tough on her.”

Besides being accused of wanting Burruss’ money, Joyce also accused Tucker of cheating with her daughter’s best friend, Carmon. However, Tucker denied the claims, telling Cohen he would never disrespect Burruss or Carmon by entertaining such a lie.

“Supposedly people in the streets were saying that Carmon and I were messing around and everybody’s trying to figure out who these people are in the streets,” Tucker said. “But there was nothing between us. That’s Kandi’s best friend. She loves Kandi to death. She has a beautiful son and I don’t even like that he’s subject to hearing this type of stuff.”

Unfortunately for Tucker, the accusations weren’t just coming from Joyce or “the streets.” On Sunday night’s episode of “RHOA,” Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas’ friend, Natatlie, the wife of ‘90s R&B singer Christopher Williams, also accused Tucker of being an opportunist and claimed that he cheated on one of her best friends.

“It was a little tough seeing it,” Tucker explained. “I was pretty cool with Christopher and Natalie. Her friend — I dated her back in high school and we reconnected later on in our mid-20s so we both were in the struggle. She didn’t have an executive position or anything … it was like, where did that come from?”

It was clear that Tucker wasn’t too keen on talking publicly about any of his issues with Joyce or Natalie, but he was even less happy about speaking about the state of his relationship with Burruss.

“We’re taking it day by day,” Tucker said.

Luckily for Tucker, there was at least one person on his side during the interview, his mother, Miss Sharon, who dropped by to defend her son on air. Check out what she had to say about all of the drama after the cut. – nicholas robinson
