When it comes to Russell Simmons’ dating menu, it’s obvious his palate prefers them young and tender. The legendary music empresario is rumored to be getting close with young actress Shannon Elizabeth, who is best known for her nude scene in the blockbuster comedy American Pie.
According to multiple media and blog reports, the music mogul and brunette thespian were posted up strong at the Golden Globe party and red carpet earlier this month where Russell was photographed with his arm around Elizabeth’s waist. And he was just seen at a pre-Grammy parties.
The Houston-born actress Elizabeth had moved to Waco, Texas when she was a kid and, when she was a senior, starred in a music video starring 90’s R&B band Hi-5 (“Kissing GAme”) that was directed by award-winner Antoine Fuqua. After moving to New York after graduation and modeling all over the world, she moved to Los Angeles where she took acting classes in hopes of becoming a Hollywood star. American Pie shot her out the gate in her debut role.
Today, she produces and directs movies as well as videos, including those by Tha Vill and Kele de Roc.
