Yusuf Neville funeral arrangements
The family of Yusuf Neville has announced funeral arrangements. A viewing for the fallen will take place Sunday, Feb. 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Durham’s Community Baptist Church.
The funeral will take place Monday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. at Durham’s First Calvary Baptist Church.

News of Neville’s passing has caused a great impact on social media spurning tribute posts and the hashtags #RIPYusuf and #OhLetsYusuf eulogizing his fun-loving spirit. Additionally a #RunForYusuf hashtag has emerged. Neville was an avid runner and his fellow Hampton University alumni have suggested participating in an upcoming race in his honor.
Shortly after his passing, over 400 Hampton University students of past and present participated in a telephone prayer call to commemorate his memory. That prayer call will take place weekly on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. for anyone in need of invocation. All are welcome to join in.

The family of Yusuf Neville hopes that his passing will shed light on the importance of suicide awareness. Additionally they thank the public for their kind words and ask that the comments on his passing remain dignified.
