You can always count on Calabasas, CA for some juicy real estate gossip. The latest rumor swirling through one of Hollywood’s favorite communities is that R&B singer and reality star Toni Braxton has made a multimillion-dollar purchase in the same gated communtity as troubled pop sinder Justin Bieber.
According to Realtor,
“Braxton is said to have paid $3 million for the home found six houses down from the pop star in the Estates of the Oaks. At first glance, that kind of move seems rather odd considering the Grammy Award-winning artist is just six months removed from settling her bankruptcy case, in which she claimed to have debt between $10 million and $50 million. Then again, there’s always a chance that Braxton clawed her way out of the red, especially with her reality show ‘Braxton Family Values’ currently riding high in its third season.
Property records show that the home in question was listed for sale in March 2013 for roughly $3 million and showed a status of ‘Backup Offer’ in December before being pulled from market. A French Country-inspired affair, it has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and 5,323 square feet of living space.”
In addition to the four bedrooms, five baths and spacious floor plan, the home features wood flooring, high rise ceilings and a variety od custom built-ins including a gourmet kitchen with a large center island and top-of-the-line appliances and a master suite complete with a private sitting area, fireplace, dual walk-in closets and a spa-like bath.
