In a startling display of police brutality, New York City cops have a lot of explaining to do.

Cops went to Krystle Silvera’s Brooklyn home looking for her ex-boyfriend. The boyfriend had a warrant for violating an order of protection. Police had been to this home before on a domestic violence dispute. Silvera’s elderly mother, who is suffering from brain and lung cancer, opened the door but could not understand the reason for the officers’ presence. That’s when 10-year-old Courtney Silvera came to the door to see what was going on. The little boy is fascinated with cops and looked up to them as role models. He had his mother’s cellphone and began filming the event.

That’s when an unidentified officer became enraged and started hurting the child. Courtney reportedly screamed, “You can’t do that you’re hurting me, don’t hit me,” his cries were heard by his mother who was dressed only in panties and bra. She was unaware of what was happening downstairs and was dressing her 5-year-old for school.

Krystle Silvera ran downstairs to see what was going on and was pulled outside in freezing winter weather by a cop so roughly that her breast, which has a pierced nipple, popped out of her bra. Silvera then alleges the cop felt her breast and touched the nipple ring and stated “Is this what mothers look like these days.”

“My neighbors saw me naked. It was degrading. I can’t deal with the embarrassment of what police did to me in front of my neighbors,” said Silvera.

She was arrested charged with assault on an officer and freed on $1,500 bail two days later.

When she came home her son was in an extreme amount of pain and his leg heavily bruised where an officer kicked him. She rushed him to the hospital and it was discovered the boy had a broken leg. The officers are all under investigation and a lawsuit is pending.

The little boy, despite this entire incident, still wants to be a cop when he grows up. “I want to be a better detective than the one who did this,” he stated.
