Roller Coaster Waves’ Terrell ‘Cassius’ Simpson

Grooming celebrities was what Terrell “Cassius” Simpson was known for — until he started making waves with Roller Coaster Waves. Originally from San Diego, Calif., the now Atlanta-based business owner founded the company in 2012, and his business is booming. A unisex hair product, Roller Coaster Waves is loaded with beneficial oils like argan and olive oil, that help define natural wave patterns. Now sold on Amazon, RCW will be seen by a broader audience, and he’s expanding his line to include shampoo and Roller Coaster Curls, a  product targeted to women. Here’s the inside scoop on what’s to come from the brand.

What has Roller Coaster Waves been working on?


We are happy to say our product can also be purchased on Amazon and we will be launching our Roller Coaster Waves ½ ounce promo packages that are fully branded with all our contact information.

What new products will RCW be bringing to the marketplace?


We are proud to announce that Roller Coaster Curls, for women, will soon be launched. It has natural ingredients like sea grape extract, argan oil, avocado extract, oat extract, sage and chamomile extract. Also a Roller Coaster Waves shampoo is currently under development and will be launched before the end of the year.

Tell us about your manufacturing process.

Our products are manufactured through Professional Products Unlimited Inc.  They create, manufacture and distribute Jamaican Mango and Lime in addition to several other brands.  The owner of Professional Products Unlimited Inc., Cyrus Jackson; and his business partner, Alvin Kendall, have been an extremely helpful and great mentors. RCW is also in the process of closing a distribution deal, which will have Roller Coaster Waves in beauty supply stores.

Future plans for Roller Coaster Waves?

Roller Coaster Waves is working on an instructional workshop campaign that will be focused on barber etiquette, various barber skills and techniques, maintaining clients, the business of barbering and business management.
