Police ‘Let It Whip’ on Russian rock group

Russian security forces took a page out of the group Dazz Band and “Let  It Whip” on Pussy Riot.  The controversial group held a demonstration in the Russian Olympic city of Sochi and police were not having it that day.

Police officers pulled out whips on Pussy Riot members and knocked them to the ground and commenced to beating the masked protestors. Pussy Riot leader Nadezhda Tolokonnikova was singled out, unmasked and beaten severely while on the ground. Arms were twisted and the group was arrested.  The group was recently in the U.S. appearing on various talk shows like the Colbert Report and was adamant about their quest for equal rights and freedom of speech.
