Paula Patton may be singing a tale of heartbreak and legal separation to Robin Thicke, but if the new rumors are true, then Thicke isn’t giving up on his marriage until the fat lady sings.
According to TMZ, Thicke is desperately trying to convince Patton to stay with him and is making some changes to his life to prove his love to her. When Thicke first got the call on Friday from Patton, saying that she wanted a divorce, Thick immediately canceled his tour date in Atlanta and flew to Canada to beg her to reconsider. However, Patton refused and Thicke agreed to the separation, and canceled his show in Orlando, Fla., the next day.
According to sources, Thicke will resume his tour in Washington, D.C., this Thursday. However, unlike in the past, Thicke has decided not to go out partying after his tour stops.
In the past, Thicke has been photographed out on the town on numerous occasions during his tours, and he has been infamously photographed kissing and groping other women in public. The source claims that Thicke wants to ditch his bachelor-style ways to prove his devotion to Patton.
The sources also claim that Thicke doesn’t want their son, Julian, to grow up with divorced parents in two different households.
If infidelity really is the issue behind their split, then Thicke’s certainly got his work cut out for him considering all of the women he’s been spotted getting cozy with.
