If you’re familiar with Three 6 Mafia’s music, you know there is a dark undertone to many of the group’s lyrics.
Well, DJ Paul’s plans for “Da Mafia 6ix’s” (a truncated version of the group) upcoming tour will only add to that tradition. As Juicy J is off doing his solo project and founding member Lord Infamous died in December from a heart attack at the age of 40, DJ Paul has decided to put the old adage, one monkey don’t stop no show, into action. Paul tells the Toledo City Paper that he plans to take Lord Infamous’ casket on tour with Da Mafia 6ix.
“Gangsta Boo is going to be there, so will Crunchy Black, Koopsta Kniccaa, and a special appearance by Lord Infamous,” Paul says. “We’re bringing his casket out; we’re bringing it to every show. I wanted him to be there. I’m that kind of guy — a weird, kinda creepy kind of guy.”
“Weird, kinda creepy” is an understatement. We’re pretty sure (at least we hope) someone will put an end to this madness and let Lord Infamous rest peacefully.
