Tamala Jones blasts Porsha Williams for claiming her boyfriend
When news broke that Porsha Williams was dating wealthy African Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, a number of people congratulated the reality star for upgrading from her ex-husband Kordell Stewart. However, none of those congratulatory messages came from Tamala Jones ,who was apparently none too pleased to hear that Williams was dating Mangue, her current boyfriend.
As previously reported TMZ got a tip that the divorced housewife was being lavished with gifts from Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, 42, the son of Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, president of Equatorial Guinea. Those gifts included a Rolls-Royce, designer luggage and handbags which fans called “blood gifts,” considering President Mbasogo’s fierce rule over his country that’s rumored to include torturing, killing and other crimes against humanity.
According to Tamala Jones however, Williams must have received her pricey trinkets from someone else considering that she and Mangue are currently together. “Miss Porsha Williams now you know you should shame the devil & tell the truth!” wrote Jones on Twitter. “You may have a man but the one you’re claiming belongs to me!”
The tweet has since been deleted but fans quickly took a screen shot of the actress’ warning to Williams.
Porsha later released a statement to E! News confirming that the story of her dating Mangue was a farce, and took a moment to promote her new single “Flatline.”
“The TMZ report is completely false! I do not know Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, nor have I ever dated him,” Williams told E!. “When there is someone special in my life whom I wish to share I will let you all know. It has been rumored that I am dating many people.
“I am not focused on dating at the moment but rather the debut of my new single, “Flatline” available on iTunes on March 17,” she added.
Fans have since surmised that someone from Williams’ camp drummed up the story as a way to draw attention to the aspiring singer’s new single. Additionally photos of Tamala Jones and her beau Mangue have begun circulating online.
