On Friday, March 28, the ever-so-fabulous Marsha Ambrosius graced the stage of the renowned concert venue The Shrine for an intimate concert with her Chicago fans as part of her Friends and Lovers tour.
We were able to snag a few questions from Marsha, while on her tour bus and here’s what she had to say.
What would you like to give your audience at tonight’s show?
First, I wanted to give the audience the live experience before I put the album out. So when you get to see the show, you feel like you belong to the music. So when people are watching they are like ah I felt that way before. Really familiar.
Your videos always seem to have a message attached. How did you come up with the concept of attaching a message to each video?
You have to. If I have a platform to speak, I want to do more than just something substandard or generic. Like most artists, have to. I don’t have to. I have a voice. So I want to be able to speak.
In one word, please answer the following question. Before I die, I’d like to?
Be happy!
