If you had to guess which rapper would be the first to land a full-production residency in Las Vegas, would you guess Snoop Dogg?
The Doggfather is the featured master of ceremonies in “The Snoopadelic Cabaret,” a collaboration between Snoop and TAO Group. Described as “an exclusive six-date DJ and performance residency at TAO Las Vegas,” the show will be a roaring twenties themed night with Snoop as the center of attention. Snoop will showcase a special curated DJ set as “DJ Snoopadelic” and perform some of his own hits.
“I’m excited to partner with the TAO team for these special classy events,” said Snoop Dogg. “This summer is going to be epic and I can’t wait to give Vegas that real Snoopadelic Cabaret vibe.”
Snoop has been making waves as DJ Snoopadelic in recent months, becoming a popular fixture on the party scene and sharing his mixes online. So, you will get Snoop and his mixes set against the backdrop of the Roaring Twenties. The affair is slated to feature a speakeasy feel, with custom costumes, décor and specialty cocktails of the era.
“The Snoopadelic Cabaret” will debut Saturday, May 3, following the Mayweather – Maidana fight, with the second event on Sunday, May 25.
