Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen, aka Mrs. John Legend, is firing back at Instagram fans after they criticized her weight, while commenting on the above, recently posted Instagram photo.
“You gained weight?” asked one follower.
“Putting on that weight momma,” added another follower.
And while not all comments weren’t negative … “You have the most perfect figure,” wrote one fan, Teigen wasn’t feeling her cyber bullies.
“Honestly f— you all. Why do I even open anything up to you.” She added, “In what other real-life situation would you walk up to someone and tell them they’re fat or gained weight? Seriously you are POS. I don’t know why I am always surprised when you let me down. I gotta get used to this s—. It’s amazing to me that I am told to get over the a–holes but the a–holes are never told to stop being pieces of s—. Anyhow over and out.”
And yes, while this whole situation could have been handled a better way, Teigen did make a good point. There has been an increase in the display of e-bullying throughout several social media platforms.
As celebrities, are people like Teigen to accept the slander as part of their jobs or was her response warranted?
