An inmate in a California prison has filed a rather bizarre lawsuit against some of the biggest names in music.
Richard Dupree is suing Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, and Chris Brown for $2.4 billion dollars with claims that they stole his songs. Dupree says the mega-stars stole up to 3000 of his songs written while he was locked up.
Believe it or not, it gets even weirder, as Dupree claims Bey and Jay worked with government agents such as the FBI and CIA to spy on him and steal his songs. Apparently, the Carters were the ringleaders as West, Brown, and Rihanna are accused of being mere accomplices of the powerhouse couple in the plot to steal Dupree’s songs.
Dupree filed the lawsuit in a Sacramento court.
