It looks like rapper and road dog of Justin Bieber, Lil Za, will avoid jail as he recently agreed to a plea deal in his vandalism and drug possession case, according to reports.

Za (born Xaxier Smith) entered a plea of “no contest” to charges against him after his January arrest at Bieber’s home. If you remember, authorities were called to Bieber’s Calabasas, California home after a neighbor complained of eggs being thrown at his house. Za was arrested after police found MDMA (Molly) in his room. After destroying a jailhouse phone, Za was then charged with vandalism in addition to his possession charge.

In the plea deal, Za will be on probation for three years, take part in an outpatient drug treatment program, work on a highway clean up crew for 3 weeks, pay a fine of $1,000, and pay an additional $600 to repair the jailhouse phone.

Za’s longtime friend Yung Stet recently talked with AllHipHop.com about the popular belief that Za and Lil Twist are negative influences on Bieber:

“I’ve known them since they were young teenagers like 14. They’re really good-hearted people,” said Stet. “I just hate that the media puts so much negativity on Twist and Za for Justin Bieber’s faults. Not even faults, because he’s just growing up in front of the spotlight. He’s young, rich, and successful. People are hoping to try and put negative things on him, but he’s his own man. I know first-hand that Lil Twist and Lil Za are not influencing him to do negative things.”
