Jay Z and Beyoncé release trailer for new violent movie, ‘Run’?

Jay Z and Beyoncé are looking to get back to work after their elevator fiasco with Solange. At midnight on May 18, hip-hop’s power couple released a trailer for what, at first, appears to be a screen adaptation of Jay Z’s song, “Part II (On the Run).”

The movie trailer has the feel of a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde story with Jay Z and Beyoncé robbing banks and shooting at the police. The clip also has appearances by A-list actors such as Don Cheadle, Sean Penn, Jake Gyllenhaal and Emmy Rossum.

Although it’s now ludicrous to believe that Beyoncé would become violent without hesitation, the trailer displays the affectionate side of the Carters’ relationship that once seemed like a fairy tale.

However, the movie trailer ends with the tag, “Coming Never.” It’s likely a promotional video for their upcoming “On the Run” concert tour.
