His career has spanned at least six decades and he is still performing for packed audiences across the country and overseas. When you speak to Rush, it’s like talking to a respected elder uncle who inspires, chastises and warns the young about the joys and perils of life. With a new album out and national tour dates that include Atlanta on June 14, 2014, at 80 Rush is a busy man. Rolling out was able to talk to Bobby Rush about his life, music and hopes for the black community.
