Sadly Omotayo Adeoye, 17, was peeking at her cellphone when Eva Malikova, a math, science and engineering teacher at Harlem’s High School for Math, Science and Engineering snatched the phone and yelled at her saying, “Oh, you shouldn’t be cheating! You guys shouldn’t be cheating! You guys are lying to yourselves!”
Adeoye apologized and the teacher reportedly told her, “Oh, you are not really sorry. That’s not a sincere apology!”
The humiliated teen asked to be excused so she could go to the restroom and never came back.
She wrote a note on her exam, “I just want to go away forever on the bottom of the river.”
The South Bronx, New York, resident, according to witnesses, handed her belongings to a stranger, placed her ID on the river bank at West 165th Street and jumped into the Hudson River to her death.
