Kandi Talks With Her Aunts About Getting Married
After deciding that she wants a “Coming To America”-themed wedding, Kandi and her daughter, Riley, visit with her aunts Nora and Bertha and her cousin, Weenie, to break the news about the nuptials to them. When she tells them the plans, Nora apologizes to Kandi for telling her she shouldn’t get married, saying she just wants her to be happy. And Weenie says that she speaks to Mama Joyce all the time about embracing Todd. They all agree that some event needs to occur to bring Todd and Joyce together, but Bertha wants nothing to do with Todd’s mom, Sharon, whom she thinks talks too much.
