Atlanta-based hip-hop star Gilles is back with new music. The clever lawyer-turned-rhymer with the unique perspective and witty bars has released his latest, “Windows Down, Tinted Out” for the fans.
The Brooklyn-born rhymer has one of hip-hop’s most unique backstories, but that wouldn’t mean much in and of itself. He proves yet again that he’s a wellspring of fresh ideas; a welcome find in a genre that can so often paint itself into an artistic corner. On “Windows Down, Tinted Out,” Gilles is still being Gilles. And thank goodness for that.
