Senior citizen abuse or justified assault on a dirty old man?

Earlier in the week, on Atlanta’s MARTA transit railcar, a disabled senior citizen was allegedly talking inappropriately to women on the train. In response, one rider who has now been identified as Loren Hooks, age 43, forcibly snatched away the 68-year-old man’s walker and then shoved him out of the train. After a week long search for Hooks, he was arrested and has been charged with simple battery in connection with the June 7 incident. He is currently in the DeKalb County Jail.
