Todd’s Mother Flies In
When Sharon flies into town to spend some quality time bonding with Kandi and Todd, Kandi is thrilled to have her future mother-in-law staying with her. And as expected, Sharon is beaming with joy for the couple, and Kandi wishes Joyce would treat Todd like Sharon treats her. But not everything is peaches and cream with Sharon. Todd wants to his mom and Joyce to bury the hatchet with their silent beef, but Sharon gets riled up at the mention of Joyce’s name and says that she (Joyce) doesn’t have to like her or Todd, but she must stop threatening him. Kandi, though isn’t keen on the idea of a get together and just wants to sweep the issue under the rug and get married.
