Dear White People is a satirical film exploring race relations on a fictional predominantly white college campus in the U.S. The film was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and is slated for box-office release sometime this fall.
This refreshing look at color lines in this country got me thinking about a few of the offensive, ludicrous and downright silly remarks I’ve heard from white counterparts over the years. Here a few tips I think they could benefit from before awkwardly cornering their black co-worker.
