A music aficionado long before she took up theones and twos, DJ M. Elle credits her family for igniting the spark inside her.
Her grandfather studied and played piano religiously, her father played guitar and had a band, and her parents owned a diverse record collection that would help shape her ear. In addition to music, writing has always been another constant companion. She is frequently prompted to pick up an acoustic guitar and strum and hum as she works on lyrics for new songs.
Motivated above all by the joy of discovering and sharing music with others, that inspiration often finds it way into her mixes with the end result being a collage of thoughtfully curated sounds, moods and genres.
