Faux locs inspiration, another protective natural hair idea

@respect_dastylist

Faux locs: these temporary loc extensions present a great style to keep your hair protected. To get this desired look many stylists start off with Marley twists and then using Marley twist hair of any texture or color, they twist from the root until the end. The style can last about two months and take possibly a total of 12 hours to create, so schedule accordingly. Do not wash this hair with shampoo or conditioner because it is not human hair.

To wash your scalp, take a hot, wet cloth, spray the mixture (water, a tbsp of apple cider vinegar and a few drops of tea tree oil) on it and wipe up any buildup on your scalp. You can smooth your edges with shea butter or gel to keep it neat. Lastly, be mindful of the tightness of the twist when starting because you do not want the tension to break of your natural hair underneath. The cost will depend on the desired length and size, but Marley braiding hair costs about $5 a pack.
