The days of idolizing your favorite celebrity by hanging a small poster of them on your wall are over. For people such as Claire Leeson, worshipping her favorite star and that star’s body, cost her $30,000.
Early this week, the 24-year-old woman appeared on a U.K. talk show, “This Morning,” where she revealed that she forked over tens of thousands of dollars for plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancements in an effort to resemble her idol, Kim Ksrdashian. Lesson says that she was brutally bullied as a child for her appearance and her plastic surgery was simply her way of overcoming her tormentors.
“I was told every day that I was the ugliest thing alive and I should kill myself. When I left school friends would tell me that I had a resemblance to Kim,” Lesson said. “So, I watched [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] and realized I had the same amount of siblings and that we have the same kind of arguments and things going on. I thought she was so beautiful and I really wanted to be like her.”
Lesson’s transformation was made complete with a new set of breasts, teeth whitening, hair extensions and thousands of dollars in make-up, spray tans, clothes and custom butt padding to simulate Kim’s famous derriere.
