Lil Scrappy and Diamond have been anything but friendly since they broke up years ago. And although Diamond has claimed that Scrappy and his meddling mother, Momma Dee, are to blame for the demise of their relationship, Scrappy recently claimed that Diamond left him for Soulja Boy.
Scrappy opened up about the matter during a recent interview with “Dish Nation,” saying that she was still very much a part of his life when she left to be with Soulja Boy.
“She was definitely living with me. Boy, I’m going to tell you, I’m not going to lie to you. Man law!” said Scrappy.
The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star says that the breakup was so painful for him that he broke down into tears when Diamond dumped him.
“Ya boy cried. You feel me, I cried,” he said. “I had a puddle right here. I’m talking about shirt wet.”
Scrappy says that he was so devastated by the split because Diamond was his first love.
“You know, let me tell you something, when I cried like that, I knew then I never been in love before. I thought I was in love with my baby mama. I never been in love before,” said Scrappy.
Well, whether you believe Scrappy or Diamond, it seems like for both, the relationship was extremely dysfunctional. Perhaps these two should spend less time talking about who damaged who and instead just be grateful that they are not thorns in each other’s sides and hearts anymore. – nicholas robinson
