Burgeoning Chicago emcee Chance The Rapper has been tapped to headline the 2014 Verge Campus Tour, which is set to kick off on September 26 at Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, California
In addition to Chance, other acts scheduled to appear for selected dates include Jason Derulo, Young & Sick, Kygo, and Sweater Beats. Tour organizers promise other special guests will be announced in the near future.
The Verge Campus Tour is designed to be much more than a simple concert. Along with the featured acts of the night, during the day the tour will showcase education, creativity, technology, fashion, and entrepreneurship in interactive villages set up on each stop. Students will have the chance to score internships and post graduation jobs in the aforementioned industries, as well.
