Bishop Ron and first lady Lavette to the rescue
After paying a visit to Bishop Ron’s sister, Shaun, who is in rehab battling a heroin addiction, but celebrating nine months of sobriety, the Bishop and Lavette visit Shaun’s daughter, Erica. For most of her childhood her mom has been on drugs and it’s damaged her ability to trust her mom. During a heart to heart with the Bishop and Lavette, Erica expresses that more than anything she just needs some stability and a safe place to stay for her and her children. Before leaving, Bishop Ron promises to come up with something to help Erica. A day or so later Lavette reveals to Bishop Ron that she’s had a revelation come to her that Erica and her kids should stay in the empty house that they’d planned to rent out. Soon Erica and her kids are moving in and Erica is overcome with joy. It’s later revealed in the aftershow that since taping, Erica has landed a steady job, is doing well, and will more than likely be offered the chance to rent the house from the Bishop and Lavette.
