EA Sports announced its plans to remove Ray Rice from American football video game Madden NFL 2015 in response to the Baltimore Ravens running back’s suspension from the league.
This move was confirmed by EA Friday. They publicly announced it through Twitter “With Ray Rice’s indefinite suspension from the NFL, he will be removed from Madden NFL 15. The roster change will take place by this Friday.”
But, Rice’s removal is not the first time EA Sports has removed a player because of a scandal. Last year, Aaron Hernandez of the New England Patriots was also removed from two games after he was indicted on several murder charges.
