Fantasia hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to love, but the singer seemed happy to reveal her new boyfriend, Kendall Taylor, to the world last weekend. However, just a day after showing off her new man, it was revealed that he’s a convicted felon, which many fans weren’t happy with. Now Fantasia is opening up about her romance and defending Taylor’s criminal past.
Last week, Lovebscott.com reported that Taylor, who is an accomplished businessman, has several criminal convictions, including assault on a female and felonious possession of a weapon. His most recent arrest occurred in Jan. 2012 for failure to pay child support.
However, Taylor has never been in prison for his crimes. He’s always been sentenced to probation and community service instead.
Not surprisingly, fans slammed Fantasia for dating Taylor, but this weekend she posted a photo of herself and Taylor on Instagram and wrote a lengthy caption about why she loves him because of his past.
