British singer-songwriter FKA twigs has been rumored to be in a relationship with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, and many of Pattinson’s fans have gone to Twitter to harass twigs with derogatory and racist comments. Many of the actor’s angry fans have unfavorably compared twigs to Pattinson’s former girlfriend and on-screen love interest Kristen Stewart; going so far as to refer to twigs as a “monkey” and a “black
b—-.”
The singer, on her own Twitter page this week, chastised those who are using hateful language against her.
“I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week,” the singer-songwriter tweeted. “Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it’s unacceptable online.”
