Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim reignited their feud recently when Lil’ Kim begin taking shots at Minaj over her verse on Beyoncé’s “Flawless” remix. Not surprisingly, fans of the two stars have been divided over their love and hate for the artists, but celebrity Kim fan Erica Mena let her disdain for Minaj be known during an episode of “106 & Park.”
When Kim appeared on the show this week, Mena unabashedly let her love for Kim show as she claimed that Kim was never knocked off her throne as the queen of rap and that other artists, such as Minaj, whom she called by name, are biting Kim’s style.
However, Mena did show support for solidarity between female rappers when she suggested a New York collaboration.
“Nicki and you are running New York, along with Remy Ma, I feel like finally we should have a collaboration just to represent New York in general,” Mena said.
However, Kim maintained that she’d only squash her beef with Minaj if money was on the table.
“The Nicki situation cannot be fixed unless it’s financial involved because it’s deeper than that,” Kim explained.
Well, we doubt that their feud will ever end, and as long as fans of Kim and Minaj are so adamant about bashing each other. We doubt that hip-hop fans will ever stop feuding either. – nicholas robinson
