Last week’s news that Porsha Williams had to give up her peach after taking a demotion on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” came as a shock to both Williams and her fans. And undoubtedly it was a shock to her cast mates as well. So it’s understandable that Williams’ “RHOA” pal Kandi Burruss was saddened that her friend won’t be a full cast mate anymore.
As previously reported, it was abruptly announced last week that Williams had been demoted and replaced by new cast member Claudia Jordan, who is BFF with Kenya Moore. Sources claim that producers were tired of Williams’ violent behavior and her refusal to share her private life, while Jordan provided more than enough drama to replace the vet.
However, Burruss wasn’t at all happy with the cast shake up and she shared her thoughts on the matter in an Instagram post.
“I’m excited about the new season of #RHOA coming back on November 9th because it’s gonna be good!!! BUT I’m sad that @porsha4real isn’t on this pic with us … Just got that news this morning when @mrglamrocksoul sent me the pic. Wow… Why am I the last to know. Go to BravoTV.com to watch the trailer! Considering how last season’s cast brought in the show’s highest ratings ever, we’re surprised as well that producers decided to demote Williams. But considering how drama-filled the trailer for the new season is, “RHOA” might have another ratings monster on their hands without Williams.
