From Ginuwine to Limp Bizkit: The 10 worst cover songs

David Bowie & Mick Jagger “Dancing In the Street”

This was just wrong on every conceivable scale. You take two aging rock legends. You have them cover a song that was almost 20 years old at the time —a very, very well-known song immortalized by Martha Reeves & the Vandellas. You have them record it sloppily and with no panache at all. Then to top it all off; you put them in a video mugging and air-humping each other in some kind of abandoned Hollywood backlot. It’s all bad. Everyone involved should be ashamed.
