BlackSTREET “Billie Jean (‘No Diggity’ remix)”

First — you don’t cover “Billie Jean,” for the record. You just don’t. Second —you don’t inexplicably call it the “remix” to your own career-defining hit. Imagine Jodeci releasing a “remix” of “Forever My Lady” that was just a cover of “Purple Rain.” That makes no sense. There’s not much you can do to improve on Michael Jackson’s most infectious track; and Teddy Riley and Co. don’t. Some songs are better left alone. Or left to better taste.
