Oprah Winfrey gifts Iyanla Vanzant with home makeover
When your friends happen to be just as famous as you are, the phrase “the gift that keeps on giving” tends to be taken to the extreme!
On an upcoming special, “Oprah Prime: Iyanla, I’ll Fix Your House.” Oprah Winfrey announces that she’ll present self-help expert Iyanla Vanzant with an awesome home makeover.
While she’s dedicated her life to aiding others overcoming significant life trials, Vanzant has barely had time to prioritize her own needs, until now.
According to the OWN network,
“After a series of struggles years earlier, including a divorce and the loss of her daughter, Iyanla lost her home and returned the keys to the bank. Rising above her misfortune and subsequently helping others to do the same, Iyanla found new success, including her award-winning OWN show, “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” Realizing a dream she thought was lost forever, she recently purchased a new house in Maryland, but it needed work and a floor-to-ceiling overhaul to fix some pretty major design challenges.”
In steps Winfrey, alongside interior designer Nate Berkus, who will fix up Vanzant’s sanctuary.
