Thanksgiving dinner turned into a horror story for one Pennsylvania man who started eating without his girlfriend. According to law enforcement, Jack-Lyn Blake awoke from her sleep after heavy drinking and discovered that her boyfriend, Benjamin Smith, had cut the Thanksgiving turkey and fixed himself a plate of food. Blake became enraged that he had cut the turkey and was eating without her, and grabbed a knife. She began to argue with Smith who stopped eating and became alarmed and got up from the table. That is when Blake allegedly threw the knife and hit Smith in the face. Blake then retrieved the knife and began to chase her boyfriend around the dinner table. The enraged Blake was able to corner her boyfriend and stabbed him in the chest.
Police responded to a 911 call from the residence and were met by Blake who stated, “I stabbed him.” Police arrested Blake and charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and making terroristic threats. Her boyfriend was treated at a local hospital for a none life-threatening injury and released.
