Twitter reacts to Jodeci’s reunion performance at Soul Train Awards

When word spread that trendsetting 90’s R&B group Jodeci were reuniting for a performance at the 2014 Soul Train Awards, fans across the world rejoiced.

As the group breezed through classics from their catalogue including “Freek’N You,” “Come And Talk To Me,” and “Forever My Lady,” there was an elephant in the room that could not be ignored: they were lip-syncing. Though group producer DeVante Swing had a live mic as he played hype man, lead singer K-Ci painfully missed a few cues while lip-syncing over his vocals that could not be ignored. Despite the fact that the group also debuted a new single, “Nobody Wins” featuring B.o.B., fans expectantly shared their thoughts on the much hyped reunion performance on Twitter.

With a new album and upcoming tour in the works, here’s hoping the guys don’t make a habit of the faux singing.

Check out some of the funniest tweets about the performance after the cut.
