Porsha Williams and Claudia Jordan got off to a rocky start on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” this past Sunday when newcomer Jordan accused Williams of shading her for being friends with Kenya Moore. And although the two eventually cleared up any misconceptions about each other, Jordan and Williams recently discussed their initial clash during a radio interview.
Jordan and Williams talked about their awkward meeting while chatting on “Dish Nation,” where they both serve as hosts alongside Rickey Smiley. While chatting with their “Rickey Smiley Morning Show” co-hosts, Williams explained that she wasn’t even aware that she and Jordan had an issue.
“I didn’t even know that we were having an issue. I really didn’t,” Williams said. “During the scene that you saw when she came … I was really getting my makeup done. I really had to film at 10 o’clock.”
Although the two claimed to have made peace, things got awkward again during the interview when Williams claimed that Jordan was nervous while asking her about Kenya Moore.
“Claudia was sweating, she had broken a sweat asking me about Kenya,” said Williams.
However, Jordan didn’t agree at all and she accused Williams of lying.
“Porsha, we made progress. Don’t get to lying. There wasn’t a shine on my forehead and I hardly wear makeup. You know it’s a TV show and you [know] what we’ve got to do,” said Jordan.
“I don’t put on for the camera,” Williams replied. “I wasn’t ready to discuss it with Claudia. I didn’t know her like that. … We had a whole season ahead, which we eventually got to that.”
Although the ladies continued to disagree about the setup of the scene, they claimed, once again, that they have made progress as friends. And we’re just glad that we won’t have to see yet another epic “RHOA” feud about nothing. – nicholas robinson
