Is there trouble in paradise for “Whitney” actress Yaya DaCosta?
Although the former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant is gearing up for her highly anticipated debut as Whitney Houston in Lifetime’s upcoming biopic. the 32-year-old has allegedly hit a rocky patch in her marriage.
According to Us Weekly, DaCosta’s rep has confirmed that the Butler star and her filmmaker husband, Joshua Bee Alafia, have decided to split after two years of marriage.
The two share a son, Sankara, born in September 2013.
In the meantime, the Angela Bassett produced Whitney Houston biopic starring DaCosta airs Jan. 17 at 8/7 CST on Lifetime. – ruu hawkins/@ruubabie
