Another Über driver has been accused of rape. According to a police report by DNAinfo, a Chicago Uber driver, Maxime  Forhounhedo, picked up a 30-year-old woman from a bar in November.

The woman asked Forhounhedo to drive to her home in North River. After 20 minutes of driving, he asked the woman to sit up front in the passenger seat. She said he began to sexually assault her and she eventually blacked out.

The woman said she woke up hours later in an unfamiliar apartment with Forhounhedo on top of her. She sent a text to her friend and told her that she had been sexually assaulted by her Uber driver. The woman called police and was treated at Swedish Covenant Hospital.

Forhounhedo was arrested one month after the crime.

Several Uber drivers have been accused of sexual assault since the app launched four years ago. Taxi cab unions have criticized Uber for not meeting standards when it comes to background checks.
