Beauty industry veteran Patrice Hector is no-nonsense when it comes to her dollars making sense. Over the course of 25 years, Hector’s career has blossomed from working as a novel hair stylist at the renown Tom Harris salon in Decatur, Georgia to a senior stylist, master colorist, celebrity hairstylist, national educator for Paul Mitchell Hair Systems, Design Essentials and Nairobi Hair Care products, lead hair stylist for several production and video companies as well as being featured on Lifetime’s reality show, “Head to Toe.”
She’s even taken her career a step further to impart knowledge to young stylists with HBOX™ DAILY RECORDS & BOOKKEEPING DIGEST, a journal that “helps the busy hairstylist track their daily assets and liabilities, costs, client services, how much they pay and gratuity all in one place.”
The financial planning tool was in such great demand that she started conducting workshops at salons and local and national hair and trade shows
On Monday, January 12, 2015, Hector is hosting the “If It Ain’t About the Money” seminar at Sokai Salon located at 559 Flat Shoals Avenue, in Atlanta from 10 a.m. to noon.
“It’s a financial seminar for beauty professionals and entrepreneurs,” shares the seasoned entrepreneur. “It aims to teach them to change the way they handle their money and the way they do business. You will get tips on building wealth, understand the power and importance of networking, branding yourself and your business as well as enjoy the benefits of having a tax professional.”
