CBS sports analyst Greg Anthony offered prostitute $80 for sex

NBA: Playoffs-Indiana Pacers at Orlando Magic

Greg Anthony, an NBA and CBS sports commentator, was recently arrested for soliciting a prostitute for sex. According the Washington Post, details of the transaction have now been released.

Anthony was reportedly staying at the DoubleTree hotel because he was scheduled to serve as a commentator for a college basketball game on Jan. 18. However, Anthony went online and called an escort on Blackpage.com.

But police were doing a sting and sent an undercover cop who played the role of an escort.

When the undercover cop arrived at his hotel, he agreed to pay $80 for sex. He also told the prostitute to “dress up.” Once the money was exchanged, police entered Anthony’s room and arrested him.

Anthony was charged with misdemeanor solicitation. He has since been suspended indefinitely by CBS and NBA TV.

Anthony is married with four children.
