Since ascending to fame with her 2014 album, LP1, English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs has continued to create her own lane and put her unique spin on things. Her latest undertaking proves she has no plans of slowing down.
According to the BBC, the “Pendulum” singer will create seven short films in front of a live audience during her seven day residency at the upcoming Manchester International Festival. Audience members will be able to watch the process as it happens in small groups during Twigs’ schedule run of shows July 9-15.
In addition to Twigs, other scheduled performers at the festival include Bjork, Damon Albarn, Jesse Kanda, and Nico Muhly among others.
The Manchester International Festival will take place at Manchester’s Old Granada Studios July 2-19.
