Bobbi Kristina moves to rehab facility

Instagram

Bobbi Kristina has been moved out of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta to a rehabilitation facility, a person close to the family said Friday. However, no further details surrounding the transfer to a rehab facility were given. As previously reported, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown was found unresponsive on January 31, in a bathtub at her home in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell, GA. Late last month doctors at Emory removed the 22-year-old’s breathing tube, allowing her to be ventilated through a hole in her throat.

Despite rumors that Brown was at one point being pulled out of her induced coma, family, including her aunt, Pat Houston have asked fans “to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life.” Houston shared earlier this month on Brown’s birthday.

While initially many assumed that Brown attempted to take her own life, after reviewing the evidence at the scene, authorities have said they are treating Brown’s case as a criminal investigation. In 2012, Whitney Houston was also found in a bathtub at the time of her death. A coroner ruled her passing an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
