Rumors continue to swirl around Chris Brown and the alleged mother of his child, Nia Guzman. While critics continue to wait on the sideline for a paternity test, it seems that Brown has had no problem claiming his daughter and making arrangements to co-parent with his former video vixen lover.
According to TMZ, the “Loyal” recording artist is desperate to be a hands-on father and is making every effort to convince Guzman to move closer to him, so that they can properly co-parent.
“He’s asked Nia to move to L.A. with their daughter and he’ll foot the bill for housing,” a source told TMZ. “He’s not romantically involved with Nia but we’re told he genuinely wants a meaningful relationship with Royalty. He’s saying he’d like to see her every day.”
It was first reported last month, that Brown conceived a child with the 31-year-old Houston woman during a break with his now ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran and now he’s the proud dad of 9-month-old Royalty. Although Brown is in “negotiations” with Guzman over support, later reports claimed that he is paying more than required under the law, but grew furious when Guzman started talking about their relationship, vowing to go to court where a judge would reduce the child support he’s informally paying.
While Brown has since agreed to continue to pay child support. Guzman has yet to make a decision about moving.
If you ask us, this is a win-win situation. Not only does the father of her child seem to have a genuine desire to be a part of their child’s life, he has offered to create a home for them to live, where together, they could create a healthy and stable living situation for their baby girl. What do you think of Brown’s proposition to Guzman? Should she take it?
